Sunday League level referee!

Rashford looked lively.

Hopefully the Japan friendly on Tuesday with all the big boys will be a better watch.

Tudor gone. lol.

Spurs man…..

What a club, what a league even.

Big Sam coming to try and keep them up?

Didn’t realise he left Marseille

Yeah pretty sure he self destructed and burnt his bridges.

Exactly the level headed approach they need.

Agreed, but the quality difference should be mental

No Kane, Rice or Saka. Learnt more from the loss than England would have from a lucky draw or win. That’s what these matches are for. He played people out of postion, tried people togeather that normally woudn’t. It didn’t work and less waste on the plane.

Maguire has played well in the two games. Not sure he should be 5th choice CB like Tuchel said! He was our most potent attacker tonight!

Italy missing out on the World Cup again! Crazy drop off from winning it 20 years ago.

They did win something else during that time though, which is more than some other nations.

Interesting when you look at the line ups in major games over the years. I know 2006 WC win was 20 years ago but wild how strong those line ups were.

Last night:

Euro 2020 final: Still a good Italian team on paper we fucked it hard.

Even the team last night on paper was better than WC 2014 squad.

They were pisstake in 2006

You could say that of a lot of teams from back then though, look at Brazil now, they’re an absolute shadow of what they were. I can’t believe how bad the recent Holland squads have been too given how they used to churn out legendary players.

Oh yer 100% but Brazil haven’t missed 3 World Cup qualifications though.

Some of those Dutch teams were mental that didn’t win things.

Davids, Bergkamp, Overmars, Kluivert, De Boer brothers, Reizeger, Seedorf, Ruud, Van Bommel, Van Bronckhurst, Van der Sar, I mean their list is basically endless.

Personally I think it makes the England golden generation look a bit shit.

Well the little man believed this earlier on. Hahaha, oh no now I’m gunna have to root for Phil Foden.

(All mum’s side from Manc so supporting Citeh is allowed I guess)

Unofficial England players going to the WC… No Foden, nice to see Danny Welbeck in the squad on his current form, he last played for England in 2018.

GOALKEEPERS: Jordan Pickford, Dean Henderson, James Trafford.

DEFENDERS: Reece James, Ezri Konsa, Marc Guehi, Tino Livramento, John Stones, Harry Maguire, Nico O’Reilly, Lewis Hall.

MIDFIELD: Jude Bellingham, Elliot Anderson, Morgan Rogers, Declan Rice, Adam Wharton, Kobbie Mainoo.

FORWARDS: Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Gordon, Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke, Eberechi Eze, Cole Palmer, Danny Welbeck, Jarrod Bowen.

Foden’s had too many chances now and just not taken them. That squad isn’t too bad, a fair few injury hit, out of form or just inconsistent names in there but oh well. Happy for Welbeck too.

Welbeck is a touch.

Bowen works fucking hard.

Glad Dan Burn is missing, I love him but not for England.
