Aye we were shite in the second half.
Kinda felt a draw was probably the right result but our defending was so bad that we deserved to be beaten.
Hoping that the lack of mid week games means that we could finish the season strong but let’s see…
Genuinely quite surprised Howe is still in the job. I thought Newc owners would be way more cut throat. 12th after 31 games isn’t where you’d expect them to be after the signings they made in the last few years.

I’ve gotta disagree, in my opinion he should be given until at least a few games into the next season.
He came in when we were at the bottom of the league and got us into the Champions League twice and more importantly got us a trophy.
We’ve been a bit average this season but for me that’s down to the Isak saga and the poor recruitment over summer which wasn’t helped by us not having a sporting director.
That’s not to say we ain’t spent money but shows if you get a few signings wrong and you can’t spend your way out of it because of PSR you’re not far away from slipping down the table when you’re playing loads.
Apparently we’ve played the most games out of any teams in the top 5 leagues which is mad.
I’m stoked they’re giving him more time and I hope he gets one more transfer window to try and bring it back.
Best manager we’ve had since Bobby Robson.
Oh I don’t believe they should sack him btw. I think he’s done a decent job up until this point. I’m just very surprised that they haven’t…..especially in the current climate

Yeah you’re completely right, it’s pretty surprising they haven’t.
From my mates with season tickets it sounds like this was the most the fans they’ve heard in the stadium booing.
I just don’t know who would be a good replacement if we did get rid. I couldn’t hack how boring having Mourinho would be and bar that there’s no one who to me is better than Howe available.
In a dream world Alonso would be mint but there’s no way he’d come to us.

Went to the game. It was pretty abysmal throughout. Dan James was terrible apart from his goal. Johnson was awful. Pens were shocking.
Bosnian fans were mental. Loads of them in my hotel tonight as well

TBF, with all the intolerable bullshit in the US a the moment, it’s probably worth dodging that particular bullet, even if your team goes 2-0 up and manages to lose.
Why did I choose to watch this friendly?! England look toothless. Uruguay are brutal. None of these people should be going to the World Cup!
