What was the point of subbing that goalie on for? He was terrible. Beach had a good game. Mo Salah with a panenka too.
It was a weird decision because that puts loads of pressure on the goalie (and the manager).
The bigger decision was to put an 18 year old up for a.) Any penalty and b.) The crucial 4th. I was fuming they did that to him.

I was explaining to my son earlier how crazy good you would have to be to be like a league 2 player. Even a semi-pro player would shred you to pieces.
Then i was saying how much better you need to be to be to be championship level.
Then to be in a top level, champions league team
But then you have players that make them look like amateurs. The Mbappes etc
Then you have the best of those players and you’re left with one single human being on planet earth.
When you think about it, can you begin to imagine what it must it feel like to know you are the best player, ever, at a sport played and followed by billions of people over the last 150 years.
To wind up as the best player of all time in the most popular sport ever is like winning the lottery 4 times or something.
There has to be one person who is the best in the world at something, and imagine that it happens to be you.
It must be absolutely nuts to handle.

Honestly mate he is a joke in a flesh. I probably got to maybe 20 or so Barca games between 2015-2017.
It was un fucking real how pisstake he was / still is.
I shouted “cmon Lionel give us a wave” when he was near the touchline at works season ticket seat and he looked at me haha.
That was like prime Busquets, Neymar when he was good, Suarez, Puyol.
I was at the UCL game where they came back against PSG.
Remember my boss calling me when it finished asking if I was gunna be at work the next day. (I had the company season ticket) Absolutely not, we walked back from Camp Nou to central hitting about 4000 bars on the way. What a night.
I loved going there, few spliffs and beers on the mound before, or if it was a game against someone good go the opposite side for flares and shouting.
I really really miss those days

But yer it was fucked watching him, and that was when he was running a lot. It’s even more mental now just watching him wonder around - football IQ 1million at the moment.
But yer who else, Mbappe all that new PSG lot, Isak, Aguero, Shearer, and a bunch of other nut jobs over the years - have all passed the eye test. @Bish you must have seen some sick ones.
None of them have even got close to what I was lucky enough to see him do.
