Chelsea signed Liam Delap after a fairly decent season for Ā£30 mill. In 28 games heās scored a staggering 1 goal. And yet Forrest agree his value has increased to Ā£45 million. Plain as day corruption from the same 4-5 clubs in the transfer business.

If others havenāt seen, Frankfurt get a cut of any profits so City have sold Savinho (who they signed for peanuts from Girona ie themselves) for an inflated fee and Marmoush for the same fee they have bought him for in a double deal to spurs. Sly as fuck.

I legit thing this has been the weirdest transfer window Iāve known in my lifetime.
The player trading thing to balance the books has gone wild, especially when you look at Villa and Chelsea. Chelsea are playing 4D chess with it, where they are selling players for so much more than expected but I refuse to believe there arenāt āgentlemanās agreementsā on other business elsewhere.

So Iāll caveat what Iām about to say with the fact that I fully understand that going to games when your teams getting results is naturally gonna be more fun, but something dawned on me yesterday when I was at Molineux.
Iāve already enjoyed this season so much more purely because when we score I can actually fully let all the emotion out and properly celebrate. Every single goal yesterday felt like euphoria, a proper feeling I havenāt felt since VAR came into the EPL.
Iāve banged on about how much I dislike VAR since it came out but I think I only truly understand how much itās affecting the game now we are in a league that doesnāt have it. Footballs meant to be an entertainment industry and the entertainments being sucked out of it for clinical reason (at best, the cynic in me says itās other thingsā¦).
Of course Iām hoping we manage to get back to āthe promised landā but I already know Iām going to enjoy every second of every game far more than I would even if we were doing well in the top flight.
How the fuck have Barca got Gabriel Jesus for Ā£8.6 million but Delap was Ā£40mil plus.
His huge wages have been a problem and why weāre shit at selling.
