Top Everton business yesterday. Balogun has a change of heart at midnight and walks away from the deal and we sold Beto to Fiorentina. Itās left us with Barry as the only striker at the club. Plus obviously we sold our best player in Ndiaye for about 60mil when players like Savinho are going for 85. Kinda funny how bad the club is at the business side of things

Similar happened at Villa with Emi Martinez. Deal was all but done with Juventus, so we pulled the trigger and signed Zion Suzuki, only for Juve to bail. Hence why the sale of Martinez to Chelsea was only Ā£7.5M because everyone knew we were snookered! Gutted he went to Chelsea as they are one of our direct rivals for Champions League.

I feel like getting rid of Martinez might end up being good for you in the end. I think he wouldāve been a bit of a toxic liability for you.
Unfortunately combined with the other players youāve lost, the whole spine of the team is gone.

Like I said in an earlier post itās certainly a relationship that one way to another benefits both clubs. I donāt blame them for doing it either just frustrating there are loopholes that allow it.
PSR and now whatever the name of the new regulation is are making football so complicated and in my opinion is only really benefitting the āBig 6ā as it even comes down to location. London clubs alone will always make more money from corporate sponsors etc just because they are in London.
Iāve never loved and hated something so much at the same time.
