A: It sounds fucking lame, but I wanted to do it for so long. And then when all that Chris Cole shit happened, and the way they dealt with that, I don’t know—so many people die from domestic abuse in Australia—I just thought that whole shit was such a dumpster fire. I just felt like, the way they dealt with it was like, Oh, he doesn’t get to complain. He’s lucky he has a career. That’s how it felt to me, how they talked about it. I remember one time I pressed Jamie about doing a statement about the whole thing. Just because I didn’t feel right riding for a company that wasn’t at least saying like, Hey, this is not good. Because it’s like you’re putting it out there that that’s shit you can get away with, and it shouldn’t be put out that you can get away with that. You know, people do that shit because they’re not educated in knowing that shit is wrong. I didn’t think it was right how they dealt with it, even if they were trying to save their ass. And I think in the long run, it kind of goes to show that it was the wrong decision.

So glad this part got its own thread. Had just watched his Out There last night and was really hyped on him. This part was the icing on the cake. Also, having to balls to fuck Zero off because of the Chris Cole shit clearly demonstrates that he has some integrity, which is quite lacking across the industry these days. Then he goes on to ride for Thames. What a ledge. I can almost forgive him skating to Dido in his last part now.
