Bernice Sanders is the closest thing they seem to have to a left wing and he is seen as a maniac with his mad socialist policies like a livable minimum wage, universal health care and parental leave.
He literally argued that “every country has these things but us” and was basically laughed out as being a commie.

It made me laugh in the TP video towards the end he has the little mini rant calling left-wingers ‘communists’ - becuase he can’t comprehend of any middle ground in between being a communist and being someone who just wants to own property and buy things.
The idea that people might engage in some sort of community-led, altruistic endeavour like a DIY is so alien to him
Some might suggest that the current notions/iterations of the ‘woke culture war’ revolves around an unholy alliance between the right wing press/media in the USA desperate to retain their market share + a tone deaf academic class who loathe the working class.
The left media has managed to put itself in a place that alienates a lot of people i think. Im fairly woolly liberal and i find the Guardian pretty puke worthy. Not the news bits but the Sunday supplement stuff. Couples doing up a French farmhouse who struggled by with only their grandparents antique furniture etc

Yeah even if it’s for the stream uploads. Maybe 2/3 per week. He usually streams live at like 1am so I’ll miss them but then he’ll upload the whole thing the next day and post it to Patreon.
I just subbed. I like his videos. But the YouTube uploads seem few and far between these days. They also feel slightly more auto censored.
