Love this. It’s one of the reasons why I love skate photos. Much more chance of “wtf?” moments and speculation about the trick than seeing it immediately as footage. “Where’s he popping from though?”, “is it into that bank or THAT bank??” etc. Stills leaving more to the imagination + then there’s stuff like the Tom Penny nollie fs360 sequence over the hip…

My favourite skate illusion stuff is when you can’t tell if someone is skating forward or backward. Like the camera man Is perfectly alongside them and it makes it impossible to tell
