It’s possible that you might. When Indy brought in Stage 9 they lowered the height from 55mm to 53.5mm, and this altered the way they turned. Stage 10 kept the same low geometry. Jenkem magazine say:
the lower geometry remained and the trucks just didn’t turn like old Indys, making many riders to look to past models to get the perfect turn.
Stage 11 raised the height of the hanger and made them turn better. This was 12 years ago. Since then they’ve also introduced the ‘new’ Stage 4 for even better turning performance. But if you’ve got used to the stable turns of Stage 9/10, moving to a more turny truck can be a learning curve. And if you go to something like Ace it can feel really unstable and wrong until you get used to it.
