…and no gloves??
I actually had some but forgot them in the car and couldn’t be bothered going back to get them. I was ok with a good puffa jacket and trekking socks.
I was at Selfridges bowl this evening and they say they’re discussing putting one of those bungee cord rail and harness systems in. Which will be great for beginners learning to drop in and for older skaters starting up again after a long break. Could even work for learning blunts and disasters. I’m all for stuff like this.

Cambridge was a very good time last night, definitely going to the next one. Decided I’d skate and try and ignore the ankle pain, lots of wincing but fucking lovely to do a couple tricks again.

I get that so much with tricks I used to be able to do and know I could still do if I could do it just once fully committed, and fear stops me. I wish skateparks had crash mats you could use. You’d only need one or two goes and then you’d be able to take it away.

On bus back from skating today. Super cold but found the newish tunnel block spot in Liverpool then popped into Lost Art got chatting to VMFJ who very kindly told me exactly where the bank to curb type spot was from his insta vid the other day and he was right way better looking than it is. Still super rad of him to share the knowledge.
Got stoked on the new Free mag cover photo ( I didnt know he had started a photography course in London ) going where did he put the flash ? ) and then went for a chilly pierhead session and then some curb action at Kaplan as every block run up was gritted to hell.
Rad day.

Didn’t go on Sat night but managed just over 2 hours last night. Still not 100% after the slams a couple of weeks back but did ok, getting there and healing faster than expected.
I landed my first ever frontside 180 heel flip. That felt amazing.

I should really try and get over to stoke one evening for a skate. Its only an hour for me and i need to pull my finger out.
