2nd trick. 2 seconds in.
Haven’t got a clue what it is, but I like it.

Slappy frontnose pretzel out or something like that?
Most of that makes sense.
i think those are effectively a slappy front noseslide with an instant nollie backside 270 out all in one motion
Trendy spin I call it.
Not sure if it’s too CMOAC to post self filmed clips like this, but I’ve got really hyped on skateboarding again since going out last week.
Landed my first kickflip in 4 years and even hyped myself up to get a 5050 on something bigger than a curb. Feels like tricks are starting to come back…
I use the excuse that it helps encourage others do the same (or better in my case).
Post away.
Nice! Where is this futuristic place that you reside?
Ha, it looks deceptively interesting but this is Stratford in east London. Mostly just a quite nice park and a massive shopping centre
And a huge, expensive slide!
Went on that slide last week. A lot faster and less pleasant than you might think, it felt like doing luge but without being told about it beforehand.
Yeah, I enjoyed it too despite its bleak, post-Olympics aesthetics. 2 for 1 on tickets if you have a train ticket to London!
Always stoked on footage of forumers, keep 'em coming!
Cool, an old manager I used to work for had a terraced house not far from where the big station is IIRC. Used it Mon-Frid (worked at CW) until he came back up here and used to bang on about how much it had risen in value quite a lot. This was a long time ago though, before the Olympics!
When I see places like Liverpool and Manchester in person and other cities in photos etc it really does show Stoke up to be as downtrodden as it feels.
Been skating 3 out the last 4 days it’s back!
/ also having a good natter @anonymity saw Jonny Robbo today always a fucking treat
Couple of hours down ze local indoor. Let’s go fucking skateboarding!!
Still keeping up my self ban on board and nose slides until I have consistent front tails and start learning back tails. Front tails are not consistent yet but I’ll get there.
Also time to start thinking of my 48 for 48. Been saying I’d do it since 40 for 40….
Film some basics and build from there. There’s something kinda addictive about the whole process once you’ve started.
My mate mentioned it the other night as a bit of a challenge - he was like “film 48, get the ollie over the Rollersnakes hydrant and a back board down the park handrail” and thats a solid achievement for 2025. He has really been a good influence in pushing myself again despite my age.
Noted a list of 48 yesterday afternoon whilst waiting for a backup to run in work and have 10 on the list that I’ve not done or learnt before for a little bit of pressure, so I have a backup list of things I can do already in case of injury or, more likely, running out of ability/talent. If I start now at least I have summer and contingency time if I get hurt…
We are the same age, did you say you’re Nov too?
I would love to do the same challenge.
Aye, November. Time is getting far more precious now!
