I went skateboarding last night but it was mad busy so hid in the office for a couple of hours talking about skateboarding instead.
Went for a quick skate yesterday, school holidays meant the park was busy so I just cruised around then one of my childhood heroes showed up and we had a fun skate. Drove back home really hyped, had a cuppa with my chooks feeling happy.

Back on it. Same as last Thursday. Backed up my back heels last week with backside kickflips this week. Also got double kickflips (because I fucking can!) on the flatbank too. Never done any of those three on flatbanks before, ever.
Can defo underline that I’ll be a better technical skateboarder at 48 than I was at 18. I’ll say I’ve gained a lot from just being sober but it’s mainly because I skate a hell of a lot with younger gen people who are, simply, miles better than me.
There is a bit of health and risk management that I do to stretch out what time I have left, but nothing more than my warm up is essentially skateboarding, I listen to my body and i know that when I just have one more try, I’ll be taking a dirt

Hard one tonight…Had the joy sucked out of me by LinkedIn and CV shite, managed to get to the park by just after 7 and pretty much skated until 11. James Woodley was up which was cool as I’ve not met him before, also Nick Binnington who is just a cracking laugh to skate with and I’ve not seen him for a while.
Huge salute to all these younger heads who let me tag along, unlikely they’ll know just how much I personally appreciate these sessions. Its great

Went skating on Liverpool yesterday on my own. Then met French and the Dungeon guys at New Bird who I’d never met before who were super sound then went with them and a few other people and skated a few curbs round the Uni.
Then stayed in town for a gig/art show at Lost Art got a GX1000 jacket in the sale ( retail therapy ). Then sister bought me a piece of Frenchs art as an early Christmas present.
Fun day.

Yeah, hes ace, as you say a joy to be around. Just one of those people who elevates a session that extra notch. Proper ATV too.
Was out tonight, just a quiet/mellow skate with my mate. Broke out some new shoes to break in. Then ran a hangar up my shin fluffing a kick away. Nice!

And again, long session, mad busy at first with loads of scooter kids. Wolves lads up again plus the usual Thursday night crew. Far too hectic early doors but it settled down late on so got a good skate in. Battered and a late one home. Maybe tomorrow, defo Saturday, I’d like to do both.

Quick trip to Glasgow for a couple of days. really fun skate at Transport what a great spot. Attempted to get my Wu Welsh on at the pier 7 manny bit. Failed. Had a fun skate had just left when the heavens opened so perfect timing. Then went Clan. Met Jamie Blair super sound guy, So obviously more retail therapy got an amazing 100% merino wool beanie and one of his new thicker Clan hoodies that he’d just had delivered
Even actually went into the transport museum. Cool little exhibit about skating with a little video with Jamie and Colin Kennedy. Today went a bit tits up, will probably do Kingston tomorrow before I go or if I have to stay ( depending on Arran ferries and shit weather ) might do the loading bay Halloween jam.
Oh and got a long lens for my FS5 so stoked on that.

Was out Sat night and a few hours out this evening. My shins have taken a battering recently…not pretty. I’m 48 on Saturday and I’m a little behind on my 48/48…Gotta give myself a break though, it aint a small number really.
Tried filming tonight but as soon as I turned the camera on I couldn’t do shit.
Well gone filming (street), one really dope line the books already, so I’m happy boy

Skated by the lake on my own for an hour this morning then skated again for over an hour at the indoor park with some marras tonight. Had a massive bowl of pasta after that. Knackered and happy.

Just on way home from a fun couolenofnhoirs skate at graystone. Fun skate on the little miniramp and pissing about on the litle curb mannypad thing in the back room. Everyone was landing cool stuff because we werent filming anything.

Out street skating today so I was filming haha. Fucking don’t have that in me anymore.
One homie did an absolute fucking banger that Iv wanted someone to hit this spot in a certain way.
To hit it this way the place is open so a mega bust but yer, we had been talking about someone getting a clip at this spot skating it as a shoot out rail for like 15 years easily. One person tried it maybe 10 years ago. Don’t think anyone even tried since today as it’s so rare to see this spot like this.
Homie did it on the go we got kicked out.
36 is my best year in so long.
Sat on like 40 seconds of really good street clips with one person working on a part with, just super motivating to get that clip today. So buzzing.
Thanks again @Pedromayn for the camera advice. Really trying to think more about my filming as well and what I’m doing which has been nice after a 3-4 year break.
