Come on Warwick FFS get proper upside down on those inverts

It’s age catching up with me.
I can’t do them on vert any more, can’t get properly upside down and can’t get my hand on the coping like I used to. This is how I used to do them:

Went out Tuesday and last Sunday. Hurt my foot a little on a tail heavy landing on the Sunday and Tuesday it was just horrid. Had to finished after 30 mins.

Hoping for a little skate tonight but sensible old man head says rest it up.

Did a street skate in my home town tonight. Pulled my hammy running up to a bank. Actually got something on film too.

Spent an hour or so lapping the non bowled half of Southwold Skatepark. Didn’t try anything more than a little Gliding & Turning.

Felt great.

Is this some kind of sick, self-outing mongo pusher post

Yes.

I thought I’d amuse myself getting this in for an Insta thumbnail.

Weirdly punishing kerb session last night, but so good to be back on 58mm wheels.

Been skating the dry curb close to mine almost every day for a while.

There’s fuck all to skate there, just shitty flatground and a curb that’s so dry not even T-Funk could grind it. Anyway, going there regularly pushed me to adapt to the spot and the process has been so great. At first I’d just do stalls on the curb, now I do 10 trick lines there, manuals, flatground maneuvers, stalls, weird shit and every time I go there I try to do something different, really basic shit but shit I don’t do very often. Tonight it was blindside fakie ollies up the curb. Nothing crazy but it felt pretty good and should open doors to new ledge tricks or new manuals. Inspiring.

TLDR: my favourite spot is a non-spot.
