I learned to bs 180 to fakie nose manny before taking them to ledges, I only learned how to pull them round the other week, still a bit janky but they feel good.
aha yeah i both love and hate it in equal measure, having a hip in each corner is fucking sensational mind you
Yeah mate I can do backside 180 fakie nosewheelie to fakie or with the 180 out but haven’t committed to taking that to ledges yet. Scares me for some reason. I might start on a curb like you did. Let’s do it.
Liverpool session yesterday at Pier Head. Really enjoyable, weather great and then got drunk. Happy days.
Been stuck on M6 for over an hour now. Not fun.
Just got out for the first time in 6 months. New deck as well. Tumbled a couple times but got the blood going, god I’ve missed it!
Short but fun sesh today with one of my oldest mates, sun was shining, skateboarding is brilliant.
Solo curb mooch. Also first post in ages. Hi again ![]()

was this yesterday? it was like an All-Star Jam around 3pm
Yep yesterday evening. Was the only person there.
Have some more dadcam curb footage. Was near this skatepark today so thought I’d do a feeble. These are so easy and so fun to do.
Well jealous of that curb
Me and KeithBeef went skating last night. Was rad and the shoulder wasn’t too bad. Still hurt a bit at times.
It is indeed a blessing to the over 40s. The rest of the park is small and mellow which also puts off the serious skaters leaving it deserted during school hours
Went to a different park (Ibstock) on the way home from work today, was pleased to find some more skateboarders and a fair few “older” guys. Ended up having a great session for a couple of hours till my legs starting giving up!
What’s Ibstock like, I actually thought about it yesterday but not been to the newer park there. Seen some pics.
It’s fun if you’re in the area but wouldn’t say it’s worth travelling for. I like the brick bank/hip.
It’s pretty local, only 15 mins but the pics didn’t sell it to me much to be honest.
Need to find a quiet kerb local though, miss that sound.
I enjoyed it, the park seems to be split into two sections, one with larger obstacles funbox, deathbox (think that’s the name) and some quarter pipes. Then one with smaller stuff, banks, a manny pad, ledge and a fun brick bank. This works well as the scooter kids stay on the larger stuff out the way. I really liked the ledge seemed to lock in and grind really smoothly. Place had a nice atmosphere even the first time going, will definitely be going back. Might try Meesham in the near future too.
Been skating every day for about a week now. I’ve skated a few different places but have another from the lovely skatepark curb haha.
Superb, keep them coming. Good angle this too, palm tree and trolley at major odds
