Had a pretty good sesh last night, I’ve finally got my head round backside flips and nollie tres.
They seem to have clicked after 20 years, not that I’ve never landed them before but with bs flips it was always a case of hucking it and praying that my feet/board were in the right trajectory I’m catching them in the air now and putting them down which is really satisfying.
Nollie tres I never really bothered with it’s only recently that I’ve started trying more switch stuff that the flick and rotation make sense. The only thing I don’t like about them is my front foot really wants to roll itself if it’s not dead centre over the board.

Please do! I never tried them until Sunday but learnt them on that curb kinda quickly. Took me a minute to get a clean one though, I always tic-tac’d out of it at first. Keep us posted!

Tough time in the family with the recent passing of my aunt, going for a skate helped to ease things a bit. Got a few backside no complies which I had been struggling with for ages. Hope my mum’s ok, lost her best friend. Ah, life is up and down, but getting out to skate for just half an hour helps.

Absolutely. Going skateboarding doesn’t solve everything but sometimes clearing your head for a minute can go a long way.

That’s awful news mate, hope you’re okay. Totally agree with you though it’s unreal how quickly you can achieve a positive state and leave your troubles behind even for a short while. Take care dude.

Tried it briefly…it’s impossible. Can’t get myself to tailslide to fakie onto the back wheels it’s front wheels down every time. Work in progress…
You really have to sit on the tailslide so you can decide to land on those back wheels when you pop out of the slide, as unnatural as it seems at first.
Remember Gonz saying I do the trick, not you to his board? Might help.

Hhmmm, that’s possible, yes! 
You got my point though, some tricks (like a back D revert) flow naturally but for some others you gotta take care of business and go for it.

Did an A to B skate earlier, sun was shining, was great to be rolling. Keen for some actual cruiser wheels now, turns out 99a wheels aren’t the one for rough ground.

Both definitely better, but the Clouds are my favourite.
