Took my daughter to girls night at the local. Great to have a catch up with Si who runs the place. I’ve not been skating for 5-6 weeks, having to pretend to be an adult at the moment.
I stacked it showing her how to do something simple, just more of a weight shift balance/control thing and I ended up on my arse. Happy days 
Told myself I’ll go friday night as skating felt fucking ace.

Went Prokekts on Tuesday on a super last minute solo skate opportunity and had a cold but fun skate. Met Richard Armitage who I recognised from the Welcome video. He was like I only had two tricks. What a nice bloke

Skated with my daughter last night and she skated again tonight as it was girls night. Stoked for her as she finally learnt drop ins from axle stall on the little ramps. She wants rock fakies and is trying but getting frustrated as they’re just out of reach. Maybe next week.

Out tonight. Did a few stunts. Daughter was a bit upset as it was busy but Jess who runs the park came out, gave her a cuddle and helped her out which was really really cool of her. She got a couple of new tricks - fakie b/s kickturn over the top of a flat bank spine and got a few frontside kick turns which she’s struggled with a while.
Myself Landed a couple of 360 flips and got a couple of nollie kickflips (it’s been a looooooong time…) in the shadows. Secretly pleased - But nobody saw so I could be lying

Last roll of the year. Hour and a half down at The House on the 2 footer. Nothing went down that’s going to see me bag a shoe sponsorship any time soon, but much fun was had. Oh and staple guns look shit but are loads of fun to do.

Couple of hours here too. Well an hour chatting and skate nerding and an hour skating. Kickflips up the Wembley still elude me but got on a couple then fell off - next year!!!

Skated outside on an industrial estate yesterday with my daughter. Took my rails and box but only used the round bar. Mobile skatepark FTW

What are the dimensions of your grind box?
Hey, box is 6ft long, about 9” high and a couple of ft wide. Its quite fun and gives the odd surprise attack when I’m a bit fatigued haha

Ah rad. I have two grind boxes, both about 28 centimeters high, one is really short but fits my car booth, the other one is longer (and therefore better) but carrying it is trickier…
I haven’t skated them since we got this new awesome park kinda close to mine but should get back to solo skates on them sometime soon. Miss them.
Skated this bowl/mini ramp in Gloucester tonight (https://www.instagram.com/smrproject/?hl=en). Really mellow 3 foot transition. Definitely worth a trip.
