I’ve barely skated my stuff in the last 18 months. I tentatively dipped my toe into skating at the local indoor (Unit 1 in Stoke) and, the long and short of it, my daughter got into skating through the parks Girls night and I got to know a few new people so I do go there a lot and stopped self filming months ago (I’m getting shitter and shitter LOL). I definately miss the tranquility of my old solo sessions, I’m hoping this year I’ll be able to get a mix of the two and travel a bit more - Far easier to justify fucking off to another part of the country now my daughter is into skating

Cost me 16eur to skate for maybe 15 mins couple nights ago. Only indoor heated place within 2 hours. Not going there again

It’s insane how big that place is and how little there is to actually skate. Plus it’s almost all wood so it’s slippery

Yeah man I filmed an edit on one of my grind boxes last winter and haven’t touched it since. We got a new park that I really like (I actually helped working on its layout) kinda close to mine in August and I think I only skated there since!
Funnily enough today I went to to another new spot I had never been to and skated a ledge for the first time in aeons. Nosegrinds will never get old.

Had that absolutely pleasure of skating Oslo skate hall this evening and even better it was old man night .
Fuck me what a park and ledges to die for .
Was so so good , if you ever go to Oslo and you have your board , don’t skip this place . It’s a must .

Loaded my car up, drove to a couple of spots. Both still wet. Then it started raining. Oh well. Starting to wonder if the garage is a good option and how long it would take to clear up lol

Was excited to have the first outdoor park skate of 2024 got there and the lights had packed in.
Did have a banging roast earlier in the day mind with a side of hash browns and gravy so still a pretty good sunday.

Drove to a heated park in the mountains and skated for over 2 hours nonstop with some good mates last night. Did a trick I always wanted to do but had never done before. Lovely chat and a few beers after the sesh. It was foggy as fuck when I drove back home, couldn’t see more than 5 meters away so I drove slowly, drinking English Breakfast, listening to skate podcasts, feeling knackered but so happy. Skateboarding is the truth.

Similar - 1.5 hours last night at the local. Didn’t do much but had a good time.
Really trying to get back fs 5-0’s anymore but have a huge mental block on leaning back. Completely lost them, again, as I have fs tailslides. I will keep trying!
