Yeah I found you have to come closer to the ledge than you would for a nollie tail, then go over the ledge and round in to the crook… Spent so long learning to pop out to fakie cos my ledge spot didn’t have an end…
My crooks are so weak, they only grind for as long as my body will stay in the air for, which isn’t long. So every grind is exactly the same length regardless of ledge. Does mean I can pop out mid ledge real easy though. I can’t nollie that way though at all so baines grinds are totally a no go. Although the same technique of close to ledge and almost pop over and above the ledge to crook is the same for half cab crooks too.

The only debate is where he sits as the best in the world right now.
He’s blown up out of nowhere by being absolutely fucking incredible and that 5 was a beaut and was at the end of a line I think.
Best in the world does not mean the favourite of all. Best in the world is usually met with plenty of dislike and disregard.
That in mind, I find him hard to watch. Can’t get past his style or getup. I was never a fan of Muska to be honest and I feel they have similarities weirdly.
Definitely a marmite skater. As practical as they are, I can’t say I ever like seeing tracksuit pants in any skate footage and he’s one of the main offenders. But, he does some bonkers stuff, along with a few ugly moves. Not my favourite by any stretch, but I’m usually interested to see what crazy shit he’s done recently.

I think the 540 looked stink because he rotated it more like a McTwist. He is so fucking good. Hate those flip indys where you grab them from out the air, should be flipped to your feet, under you the whole time, not snatched out of the air as you boot it 6 ft over your head

YES! absolutely. I find it weird that all these kids, while being amazing, are doing flip grabs like this. The heelflip ones are the worst, They don’t really flip, the board turns upside down and they grab it the rest of the way. It’s the equivalent of 180>pivot the rest and claiming 360.
Flip grabs need to be caught be feet and grabbed by hand at the same time.
Of course, who am I to say, I have done a handfull of flyout flip indy’s in my life and they were probably stink bugs so…
For aesthetics though, I think I am right.
