Not many people in my area did so we’re good

It’s just a nice little gesture for people in the NHS, not some big political statement. If it raised the spirits of a few NHS workers it’s a nice thing.

Bit corny but beats watching TV all evening…

It’s funny how Labour and Corbyn seem to have been frozen out of main stream media? Maybe because now is not the time for arguments, mix messages to the public and finger pointing.

I thought it was cool purely for the fact that it made people all focus on some positivity together rather than being some lonely pessimistic naysayer too cool to join in. Which is an attitude we need to steer away from in the future.

Next have just closed their web store as well as their shops.

Ooft. No wonder the staff insisted then.

Shout out to all the key workers over at Heathrow Logistics Park.

He must’ve met quite a few people in last few weeks you’d think.

Has he met Trump lately?

some real assholes online with people being happy that Boris has it. i think he’s been doing a good job and you can’t wish this shit on someone. karma got some work to do

He’s done pretty much the opposite of a good job by thinking he can just blunder his way through this with all that herd immunity bollocks, instead of sitting there saying oh we’re 2 weeks behind wherever and all that shite surely taking the research from other countries and locking things down 2 weeks ago would’ve made more sense.

Russia sends Italy coronavirus aid to underline historic ties

A positive bit of news.

Yeah but every other country in the world will be trying to get them too. Just need to explore every avenue I guess but it’s possible that it might be quicker to get the volume we need by producing them locally.

A few weeks back, Johnson was talking about herd immunity, not imposing travel restrictions, just Keep Calm and Carry On. His response to this has been nothing short of spectacularly useless, beaten only by the orange shite in DC

Whose main concern appears to be money and hurrying people back to work rather than their welfare.

It could have been much better I agree but this is new and there is no correct way to deal with it yet.

There’s million variables when deciding how to deal with this and I think we got there in the end even if a week or two late.

I don’t think it’s really time for bashing the PM, even though he’s a tosser.

Well there were already better and worse ways to deal with it as shown in other countries and as stated over and over again by the WHO.

I guess when it’s over we’ll find out how bad the UK has dealt with it compared to other countries at the end of all this.

We might have isolated late but it’s not just that, pretty sure the compensation is fairly adequate for those out of work.
