Even in peacetime this behaviour is unacceptable

I’ve seen this sort of thing as well, it’s like their will is just too strong to be changed no matter what warnings are put in front of them. At this stage you’ve got have a whole other level of ignorance to be acting like that.

I’m the one going out for shopping because I drive. But in a few weeks time I’ll be back on shift because we are key workers. Not essential in dealing with corona virus but our customer wants someone to man the shift 24/7 incase of problems. My Mrs and kids are on day 16 in the house and she is scared to go out. She isn’t bothered about going it it’s more if she touches something someone else has. I’ve been using this time to work on my mini here and there. It’s my escape and my Mrs doesn’t get that. And I suggest using her 1 hour exercise time take a walk but she doesn’t want to. She’s scared of bringing the virus into the house, and she doesn’t want to get it because the kids need her. She’s beginning to crack at the moment.

The kids were at school, so only really in day 10 of lockdown now, ffs, thanks Boris!

I wonder how many people are going to turn into Howard Hughes and need help once this has hopefully passed?

The bad news just keeps coming.

Sheesh, I hear ya.

“He said Vodafone is providing governments and health authorities with valuable data insights to assess how well containment is working, thereby reducing the spread of the virus. The Vodafone Analytics platform has provided heat maps showing population movements to authorities in Italy and Spain, and will do so soon in Greece, Portugal and the UK”.

Oh aye.

Probably (definitely) because there are still some people not paying attention and maybe a letter will hopefully be an even more obvious thing to pay attention to.

Take my fucking next door neighbours for example. The girlfriend isn’t living there at the moment (no idea why, but there have been multiple cases of violence between them over the years, etc), but the other half who owns the house is still letting her in and visit every few days… and she has a 5/6 month old baby.

Can you tell I don’t like them one bit?!

Spread love, it’s the Brooklyn way.

Run her a bath and put her ipad in there and said take as long as you need. Done a quick clean downstairs and got youngest on my back asleep in the sling. Hoping it helps a little.

My Dad just sent me a message saying that Dominic Cullings is self isolating having had symptoms.
There may be a god after all.

Another one, strange that he’s not just had the test straight away.

Prince Charles out of self isolation a week after testing positive

If we only have X number of testing kits and they’re all going to Tories and their advisors, they’d be up roar about only the elite getting them.

Joe Rogan alert.
Good interview with Prof Peter Osterholm, an internationally recognized expert in infectious disease epidemiology. Worth a listen if you’re doing something else, like gardening or typing.

It’s insane how all these companies are crumbling from only 2 weeks of instability.

Every financial advisor ever will tell private individuals that they need to bank at least 3 months worth of salary in case something happens. It’s mad that companies literally seem to have no liquidity and are already going under. It seems so fucking irresponsible, but also it’s the norm so maybe it’s just me.

Even in normal times and a healthy economy, if I was a CEO I don’t think I’d be able to sleep at night knowing that a couple of weeks without trading would wipe out my whole company!

A lot of directors will be taking larger than usual dividends at the end of this financial year, that’s for sure. I’m one of them.
