My bad! Missed that. Hopefully this gem makes up for it.

The police aren’t bothering about cannabis dealing right now. Or affray.

Went to Lidl earlier. It was one of the more pleasant experiences of shopping there I have had.
Also nipped to Asda for petrol at 1.02 a litre as opposed to the petrol station really close to my house which is still at 1.23 per litre.

See those wankers driving around everywhere at 100mph, acting like it’s a fucking video game or something?

I am one of them.

Meet you half way?

I know this won’t affect most of you but tried to see how I would get back to UK if anything happened to my parents and there are now no direct flights from here to London, I’d have to go via Frankfurt leaving on Thursday (only) and it would be a Ā£914 round trip. Bananas and a bit worrying. Would also have to sit on a plane and not that keen on recirculated air.

I could drive, but that’s another story and it’s I think about 1,600 miles, 28 hours straight, plus Eurotunnel

Definitely drive, would almost be pleasant

That’s why you cycle instead , just did my daily cycle and stopped off for a herbal collection.

At least the roads would be quiet

That’s the sort of cab I’d like to hail!

Don’t dealers do drone deliveries yet?

Into prison grounds, haha.

Mine comes in his mate’s Uber. Easy way to be completely ignored by people when you’re parked up with the engine running and got people going in and out the motor.

So is this the peak now?!

Think it’s still going to be days or a week until we see distancing measures having an effect on death numbers. There’s a delay.

Are those numbers because of the deaths we didn’t know about before, added to the figures?

Not sure. My suspicion is we still don’t know the real figures for those killed by Covid, so the 381 is literally people who died in the last 24 hours. But they may now be treating more deaths as caused by Covid which they weren’t doing previously - an expanded definition of what’s a Covid-related death.

393 now apparently:

I’m not sure either but most of the press seem to be just saying the last day was a really big surge, maybe that’ll be revised later in the week maybe?

It seems like a big jump but the previous two days were an unexpected drop. They did say yesterday to not pay close attention to daily figures but trends over longer periods. I think there’s probably all sorts going on with differences between when deaths actually occur and when they get reported.

mental numbers if this is legit like
