Not at all, I just think it shows we shouldn’t be too hasty over here.

Went to the only open bit of field near me earlier for my walk and there were 5 seperate games of at least 7 v 7 games of football going on. Had to leave straight away because I couldn’t get around them all. The pandemic is over I guess :man_shrugging:

Oh well, it’ll probably just be like that for some people with the other section of society keeping their distance while we battle the odd outbreak here and there until eventually it just goes away, maybe?

How does a virus that spread so fast from 1 person just go away? Unless everyone has had it and can’t contract it again or fully then if we go back to normal, it will spread fast again exactly how it did in the first place. It’s not gonna get tired and think “fuck this, I can’t be arsed anymore, more people than I thought”

I don’t know the answer to this but it is dropping here and staying below R and some countries have managed so I’m sure we can.

Yep, unless the lockdown and distancing measures are kept in place, the R will go up while there’s no vaccine.

As seen in Germany, above.

that’s because people have been practicing social distancing for the past couple of months but if everyone stops then it will spread just like it did at the start.

Fully losing it.

“He is a Russian asset. History will show that. He’s been colluding with Russia from the get-go – the Mueller report even said it. The only reason they couldn’t do anything is because he’s the president, and the minute Trump’s not president they’re gonna put his ass in jail.”

It’s a big claim. Do you really think Trump will end up jailed? “Yes. If Harvey Weinstein and Bill Cosby are an example, yes, I think he will. So he’s going to go. He’s insulted too many people.” When you go after judges, he says, it comes back to bite you in the ass."

Local lock-down in Germany too. Hopefully these localised lockdowns will be enough to contain the spread and not put too much pressure on the local hospitals.

Thank god we developed an effective track and trace app to help us contain local outbreaks.

I doubt that story will even make our press given how many of them have been happily talking of holidays to Spain.

Yeah and OUR government didn’t bow to industry pressure! Pretty much got everything right from the start.
