Just got an message saying my passport will expire a year early for travel to Europe.
Did a check on the GOV website and i won’t be able to use it after July 2021 but it’s not due to expire till March 2022.
Fucking brexit .
10 week minimum wait at the moment. Not that most of Europe will be open but glad I found out now and not on the day of a holiday.
So I’d check yours if you have a holiday planned.

I got the email from them too. Which was useful as it made me eventually unsubscribe.
Is it actually only 3 weeks? I just realised mine expired last month so I’ve just done it. Need to update my driver’s license since moving, can’t do it because my passport expired. Joy.
Guess I’ll be getting a wanky blue one now.

Yeah I just did a name change on mine, It was like 2 weeks turnaround for the passport but I paid the extra £5 to have marriage certificate sent back securely and it came in a flimsy envelope not even signed for and took a further two weeks!
One phrase stuck out in the BBC obit “of no constitutional significance”
