Missed it but the rest so far has been pretty sobering so far.
Yeah listened to this live it was insane.
I really wish there could be a platform the public can use to get all on the same page so we can all team up and refuse to pay all our spiralling bills until something changes.
Oh wait, we have many platforms but weâre all too stupid to see that they are dividing us with silly pointless mini class/race wars.
Yeah totally but itâs gone too far now, same with the people in government, they are on a gravy train and gotten used to it, they wonât want to go back now. Too many people are on it and have lifestyles to upkeep.
I think itâs become the norm to take money through loopholes âwhy are the holes there if they are not meant to be used?â train of thought has been normalised and I think it can turn even the most moral of people if itâs readily available to do so.
Taking your cut starts to overpower your priorities of making sure your business is running as it should.
Sorry, haha!
I think thatâs why it needs someone to inspire a revolt of some sort. Who that might be, I donât know. Itâs a shame that Corbyn wasnât able to rally in the way he needed, he was too easily spoken over. There is hope absolutely but the people benefitting wonât change out of the goodness of their heart.
Our tax code should fit onto a few sides of A4. In reality, itâs over 21000 pages long
No⌠thatâs why I was sarcastic about a platform that the public can group on.
I feel like cancelling my energy and water bills sometimes but I know it wouldnât have the desired effect. Be really fun if even 5% of the population did the same at the same time.
Most tories are raised to believe they deserve the riches of the world and everyone else should be happy for what little they get. Not unlike the royals who actually believe they were picked by God to be so privileged. 20 out of 55 PMâs were Eton educated. Their motto is Floreat Etona (May Eton Flourish), which basically means âWe look after our ownâ âŚ
More fodder for WW3 not being that far away? A famously neutral country signing up to be part of Nato⌠they believe Russia isnât going to leave neutral countries alone when it all kicks off.
Let me guess, Ofwat is made up of ex CEOs of the same industry⌠(i donât actually know but it wouldnât surprise me)
UK economy is dominated by monopolies/oligopolies - water, rail, mail, energy, banks, supermarkets - devoted to fleecing people.
Yep, all cartels.
Just shut up, stop moaning and wait for it to trickle down you ungrateful bastards.
That went well!
With the best will in the world that doesnât seem very possible does it?
Wow , that was quite something. JOBâs âshow me the facts and evidence â at its finest . Itâs usually brexiteers who donât last 3 minutes and hang up , the conservative chap just couldnât let it go and what a mess he made .
This must happen a lot, the arson I mean, an old pub I know conveniently burned down a couple of years ago and housing popped up in its place
Oh yeah, itâs happens so much it may as well be legalised most of the time!
Yep, just after the lockdowns ended a hotel up the road from me burnt down and there are now 48 new homes being built on the site. It was a dodgy hotel I believe and no real reason to save it.
