The way I see it Britain is poorer because of Brexit. Itâs that simple.
There is a saying that if you want to see how a government really wants to treat its citizens, look how they treat immigrants. Itâs no coincidence that these two things are happening at the same time.

Itâs not strictly to do with Brexit, it goes deeper than that. The tories have used Brexit as a way to weave their narrative for sure and Brexit as a result has had major knock on effects to make people poorer in many ways. So yeah, you are right, Brexit has made things really really shit but we all know what Brexit really is, itâs a nothing idea to drive a wedge and unite in messed up ways⌠but essentially what is making people poorer is the Tory ethos and the way they are exercising it, and boy are they going for it.
And even then you could go deeper into conspiracy territory.
