Listening to LBC on the assisted dying bill, I know that radio is entertainment so they’re putting through people with extreme views but the people phoning up who are against the bill because god would disapprove can fuck off back to the 15th century.

The assisted dying stuff is complicated as it is without bringing outdated fake ethics into the discussion

It’s bad enough that it would end up having to through the house of lords that’s filled with religious nonce’s who will probably vote against it on religious grounds

Here are some excerpts:

The petition to demand a general election on the grounds that the people who didn’t vote Labour on 4 July are upset at the result so far has almost 2.7 million signatures. There are many depressing things about this country… but the petition depresses me more than most of them. I had thought we were a little better than that. I had thought that was one of the things – one of the important things – that distinguished us from those insufferable middle-class liberal lefties who cannot believe that other people have views which differ from their own.

I am beginning to think that The Spectator should offer mental health counselling to readers who are still sobbing because a democratic election turned up a result they did not like, just like the editor of the Guardian offered to her staffers who were distraught at Donald Trump’s victory. I had thought that beyond hilarious. Rather less so right now.

It is not a joke. It isn’t funny, unless you’re an idiot. Instead it is a betrayal – firstly and most importantly of democracy.

IIRC it’s a phrase coined by the Tommy Robinson lot when the police shut down their protests (burning down hotels, smashing up mosques etc) but allowed the Free Palestine demonstrations to continue.

Love this but technically it should say ‘Kneecap humiliate Kemi Badenoch and the previous government’

He could have saved his rep with a good response but nah, fucked it

I’m getting arrogance with a strong after hit of pig shit thick.

Was going to post that earlier but it saved as a draft. Couldn’t place anyone who is less self aware.

the US is ridiculous. why does the position of president have the power to pardon people? if Hunter was only prosecuted for political reasons but was still guilty of any charges then he shouldn’t be getting pardoned. if he isn’t guilty of anything then shouldn’t be an issue surely (not gonna lie i can’t be bothered to actually look into the full thing)

Probably thinking that Trump will pardon the whole high class peado ring (His mates) when he gets in so why not take advantage himself while he’s in power, he’s done anyway, can’t even remember what his son has done so his legacy can’t be any worse especially as the new president will make this practice ok to do.

As if Biden is capable of making any decisions on his own anymore.

It’s a bit lame to start saying Trump will do worse as an excuse for your behaviour (Biden).

Trump pardoned Lil Wayne last time who was found to be carrying a gun and bullets when police searched a private plane in Miami in December 2019. He faced up to 10 years in prison. Must be a big fan, who knew?

Exactly. The US left go on about how morally corrupt the right are whilst their president pardons his own son.

I don’t understand why the leader of a county has a legal right to pardon people. Proper tyrant vibes

Nope, he said he’ll make it disappear if he used his influencing to get people to vote Trump.
There were many vocally supporting Trump pre election, all on a payday.
Not so far fetched an idea now we know that influencers have been revealled to be on Russian payroll. But you know this, the point of your post, so i’ll just clarify innit!

I kind of get it though. While I agree it’s bollocks that they can pardon, Trump will use the judicial system to go after his enemies and will have made Hunter’s life a living hell. If I had the power to stop a loved one going through that I would most likely do the same. Again, the whole thing is bollocks of the highest order

Someone remind me what he did

Ok i looked. Boring. Trump’s lot made a big fuss about it anyway

£7 billion. Big number. For fucksake just legalise and tax it, pot at least, the revenue would sort out a lot of our cashflow problems. But of course, “morality”’ cos we’re such a moraly pure bunch
