The next big shit show is going to start tomorrow when the count down to the tariffs on Mexican and Canadian goods taking effect on Tuesday, with Canada promising strong and swift action immediately if they go through.

Not of much news to most on here but I spent a lot of time at Oakwood growing up.
Itās always been a bit of a shithole but I was excited to take my son there this summer.

I have never been there. Havenāt even been to Alton Towers either. I went to my first themepark when I was alost 40 with my own kids and then I realised why my parents never took me to any haha.
How come? I went there loads of times through schools and my mates working there so I could get in free when I was a bit older.
In fact, my dad helped build parts if it.
I did Legoland the last week and my son absolutely loved the (tame) rollercoasters.
Was hoping to get him on Megafobia this year before it shut down
I wonder what happens to a theme park that gets abandoned? It will be left to rot I guess because it must cost a fortune to take rides down to clear it all.

Just never did. My dad would not enjoy queues or paying themepark prices for things. I didnāt enjoy the queues or paying themepark prices for things. Never went with school either, though I heard it rumoured that was a thing.
We did go to Penscynor WIldlife Park which was pretty amazing and also closed down many years back. It was indeed left to rot and just became an overgrown post apocalyptic film set type of place.
