I can honestly say I would much rather visit an abandoned themepark than a working one! Look forward to checking out Oakwood some time in the 2030s!

Metroland in the Metrocentre was our theme park day out as kids, haha. To be fair though my parents did take us to lots of places.

American Adventure near Derby was left abandoned for a long time before things started to be taken down and away. The missile was sold off and reused though.
Never been to that oakwood but took the kids to Folly Farm a few times when hols in Tenby.

I lost a beloved Anarchic Adjustment cap on that thing. It really was a death trap. Felt like it was going to fly off the rails every time you went round a corner.
