I wouldnāt celebrate so quickly.
Like all the lawsuits against Trump, this will just persuade her supporters that the establishment is using the law to stop her winning the presidential election, and adding on extra penalties that donāt normally apply to other people - like the immediate ban on her standing for election, even while sheās appealing.
Iād like to be wrong but I donāt think I am.

The US government admits they deported a man because of an administrative error, despite them having protection from removal! They are saying they messed up but now itās out of their hands as he is no longer a citizen and they have no jurisdiction to get him back from El Salvador!
He is a father of a 5 year old disabled child, no criminal record in America.
This is because Trump has done away with the right to due process when kidnapping people off the street!
Iām going to NY / Boston next month, I really do not want to go to America. So unbelievably low on my list.

Iād go. You donāt have to like the current president to enjoy a stay in the US. New York is an amazing place. Couple of good skateparks there too.
I have an Islamic-sounding surname, which has meant that every time Iāve flown to the US in the last 15-ish years Iāve been ārandomlyā selected for a bit of extra questioning when boarding and alighting, about an hour or so of stress each time. Thereās no way Iād even try it now, Iād be scared of getting locked up for weeks then deported.
I have an uncle whoās lived in California for 50 years, full green card etc etc, and heās been too scared to leave the US for years because he doesnāt think theyād let him back in.
Basically, fuck the place, there are plenty of other holiday spots in the world

Was working in Connecticut and NY earlier this year. Most people were totally normal and decent to spend time with.
Visited some family in Florida last year, most people were insane and kept talking about immigrants eating pets.
Still worth a visit but its shine is fading, America was everything when I was a kid.

Yer Iām going to see family from Connecticut (all Democrats, normal human beings) but donāt know their extended friends.
Its more things like, oh they are gunna spot check peoples phones to see if they have been slagging the Donald off on the way in at the airport.
I donāt want to contribute to their economy at all.
