Labour have untill 15 August 2029 at the very lastest to turn things around. There is no way Starmer can hold on to the leadership for that long. Trump will be out of office by then too, if he even sees his last term to the end. The landscape is going to change.
I’m really hoping that the American mid-terms mess everything over Trump and his minions.

All hope is not lost yet, surely?

I predict a Labour Lib Dem man dem coalition at the GE. A Reform gov is gonna be too much to stomach for most people here imo. We’re stupid over here, but it’s not like America either. Trump is a huge variable. Who knows wtf is gonna happen next

Youd think they’d parade those stats a bit

They do seem completely unaligned with the mood of the nation

Yeah. I think they’d prefer Reform to the Greens. Seriously. Same with the Dems in the US.

It all depends on how in step with that or not Burnham is really

There are two moments either side of the pond in the last year or two that really summed up to me how centrists are always Tories.

First was Hilary Clinton saying that the reason young people were supporting Palestinians was because they looked at IG and Tik Tok too much. Rather than the actual footage of a genocide we all watched on our phones for nearly two years.

Second was " nation of strangers "

Fucks sake my council’s gone reform. They’ve literally elected someone who lives over an hour away and defected from the Tories
