I can give you a list of things which are difficult one handed.
Top of the list for sure was chopping swede. That one almost put me back in the hospital. Made it though and rode away clean.
Any cooking is hard tbf. Chopping, cleaning, opening things and trying to lift trays and pots.
Tying recycling bags.
Squeezing toothpaste onto a toothbrush.
Fuck zips. Fuck them.
Writing capital letters on a keyboard.
Could go on.

man i started a new job as a linux tech in 2014 at one of the best companies on the planet (at the time) and then managed to liquidise my wrist skating a flat bar the day before i was due to start. i was typing one handed for ages (not inuendo), they just thought i was a bit slow mentally for awhile 
i feel your pain though, for some reason cooking was definitely the hardest thing

At least you have your wife. Last time I broke an arm I was still living on my own. It took me an hour and a half to do the food shopping I normally used to do in half an hour.
