Asked some friends and she was a he. Had me fooled.
Soem pre-op footage. I remember the stair line when it dropped. Gender doesnât take away from her skills. That skatepark footage was proper.

Dead naming is when you call a trans person by the name they used before they transitioned. Itâs quite a controversial topic actually and could cause offence so itâs something worth reading up on so you know what itâs all about.
In this case, the fact that this skater has transitioned is relevant. So I donât think youâve done anything wrong but itâs worth being aware of the potential to offend.

Ok, so Iâm just going to try and explain myself.
I clicked the link, watched the clip and thought it was rad. Checked the rest of her clips and saw she was sponsored by a skateshop on Ghent. I have friends from there and asked them if they knew who she was and if they had seen any clips of her in the streets. My friends were quick to answer back not since her transformation with a link to some old footage. Unaware of dead footaging I quoted myself and posted a couple of clips. There was never any malice intended. I honestly thought the new footage is great.
Just trying to defend myself from being labeled the resident homophobe / sexist / idiot etcâŚ
