I’m sure I saw MC post some clips of him and Rick Howard in Shrewsbury that Andy Evans filmed on Insta today but I was at work and not paying attention. Went back to look for it but it’s not there. Fuck knows who posted it though but I’m happy to see him talking and skating all the time.
I watched him do a switch big heel manual over that old road gap onto the little island next to SOAS and he did it first try. Absolutely perfectly. Mental to see. I landed my one and only ever switch 360 flip virtually stationary that night too. Elite levels.

Putting this here so I don’t forget. A prime mover in the Cali scene/industry who is really nice but I still have no idea what he actually does.

I went to his house in SF back in december as I was with a couple of people who are close friends of his.
He’s one of the owners of Ace Trucks.
He is absolutely lovely and what happened to him is so, so gnarly. He has to spend two hours a day on his back with his feet in the air, just to encourage nerve vessels to grow back in his legs.
The scarring is wild.
I’m really not sure of his history or what else he is involved in, but it seems like a lot of pros love and respect him,- I feel like he has guided a lot of people from flow to pro even if he isn’t the company man.
…but beyond that, he was a fantastic host, despite not being able to walk much and was so stoked I was from the UK. He was talking about Bear Myles, Lintell and a bunch of others pretty quickly as he is a fan of stuff over here.
It was such a positive experience.

Starts out a bit MTV Cribs, but was actually a fun watch. Seen some dumb takes on Slap recently about Tony, but the fact he’s nearly 60, skating for the love, at this level still, is cool.

Found mike v to be a bit boring in the last one I watched of him, his stories are so well rehearsed and he must’ve told them 100 times before.
Way better in this one as it was off the cuff. Rocco is great. Fausto stories are brilliant.

Probably wouldn’t watch one of him on his own but this worked well. Cmoac but I never found Fausto intimidating like that the times I was around him. Definitely wouldn’t wanna disagree with him but he always seemed nice and just loved proper skateboarding.

I kinda prefer him not going back to Baker, they did kick him off after all. I’m sure with good reason too, no shade on Baker but sometimes things happen for a reason and better to not go back. He has enough juice to do his own thing. Not that my opinion matters
