Dale Starkie by @anonymity for Free ![]()
Very good interview. Very briefly met Dale at the Wolftown prem in Brum a year or so back via @sk8arrog8 - I always enjoy his footage and reading this he seems to have his head well screwed on. Juggling his job and skating is admirable to say the least!
Loved the story about fixing the rail, even got a laugh from my wife about it when I told her.
What a great dude
Sharing the mixtape at the end of that.
Rick is something special. Very easy on the easy and perfect candidate for excellent regular and switch 360 flips.
Spent a bit of time with him over the years and he was always really sound too [/cmoac]
Respect to chops for going in on the personal controversies that have been glossed over (or completely ignored) by the Crail camp.
That was a good interview. Dealt with some heavy questions really well too.
âout of Daewon, Markovich and Rickk, whose fakie bigspin heel would win in a fight, and why?â
he also has impeccable fakie fs flips & nollie bs flips
Not such great switch flips though ![]()
âOnyxâ hahahaha such a bad name
Bacdafucup
Rickâs is objectively the best - the one off the c-block in his Questionable part is perfect.
Markovichâs down the 7 as his Color ender is the gnarliest.
Him and Sanch own the back noseblunt too.
Daewonâs one on Beryl is pure brain scrambler
Very funny interview with a singular individual
This is pretty true
âŚWHETHER PODCASTS SHOULD HAVE SIMPLE MINDSâ âDONâT YOU FORGET ABOUT MEâ AS THEIR THEME TUNE.
(Laughs)- I think that I know what youâre saying, here⌠I guess that thereâs been a glut of skate podcasts at the moment; some more interesting than others. You probably see this in all walks of life â you only have a certain amount of time in the sun, so I can see why people want affirmation for what theyâve contributed in the skate world, tied up in a podcast. Itâs totally understandable â and I know that emotion. I do think itâs nice if recognition comes â and there are a lot of deserving people, but it shouldnât be forced⌠if possible.
