Let’s do a run dmc logo.
Nah you cant do that, everyone has done that.
Ok. Let’s just stick another line in the middle.
Safe bruv.
Who’s buying Wayward? It seems like the least thought out company. Terrible logo as well
Wham sprang to mind.
Probably something to do with the colour schemes.
Which one?
The wheels one. Didn’t actually realise it was different to the clothing one until just now
I got a set of Wayward Wheels from my local SOS just before they went online only.
Right size, price and minimal graphics.
Not sure I noticed the logo… is it two thin W’s?
Ah. Cheers.
Gonna start Palace Wayward Boyz and fleece some shops into making some orders, hoods will only be 85 of course
There’s going to be as many versions of this as there are of the beach boys or UB40 at this rate.
Wayward wheels is run by Benny Fairfax and Andrew Brophy. Benny is married to Brophys sister or something. There’s some connection between the 2 of them, could have been mentioned on the 9 club or some where.
Oh so the companies aren’t even related? I did think it was confusing you could buy Wayward wheels apparel but also buy Wayward clothing, but Wayward wheels clothing is different to Wayward clothing… but the same price. And the same name
I think I heard somewhere that Wayward Wheels are through Diamond Distribution, and trying to work the same business model, so their reach is a bit bigger than Wayward Clothing.
I think they were all in the ‘Wayward’ gang when Brophy lived in London. They both wanted to use it. The clothing side aren’t happy as they claimed it first as a company.
Just like Palace is named after the house they all shared.
I just wish they’d do PWBC News again.
Best of Series 1 here.
Such a shame that most of the original ones on the Tim and Barry’s site are now set to private.
Oh wait hang on - most of them are watchable again
i was trying to explain pwbc news to some palace/supreme hype lad at my old work and he didn’t get it one bit
Good.
Cheers Anon. I’ve watched them a few times. Love them, and that you try to explain anything about them to someone outside of skateboarding and they wouldn’t be able to wrap their heads around it.
I think skateboarding needs this kind of calling out more and more these days.
