Interview Thread

Went up there filming early on in the year and the spots are pretty haggard now compared to back in the day , quite uninspiring . Beige is still pretty similar to what it was 15/20 years ago.

Pretty sure that was for sale around 2000/2001?

Sounds about right

Finally read that. What a banger of an article. I absolutely loved that and I’ve never even been to Milton Keynes.

The Pritchard story about ollieing the 3 is incredible.

It’s essential listening because of the stories but I can’t stand his voice, his self importance and pompousness but it’s enjoyable to get wound up by it in a way.

You’re pretty boring if you don’t like Dill

Skating needs personalities like him

I’m very boring.

Not sure if liking/not liking someone is a yardstick for this though.

That wasn’t directed at you, just saying in general

Yeah I know, just stating that I don’t particularly like him and i’m pretty boring so your theory fits but I don’t think it’s right.

I agree that skating/The world needs these people I guess. I’d be the first to admit that if everyone was like me (the morals of a saint) the world would be boring as fuck even if it was utopia.

He’s got the worst voice ever to me. Can’t deal with it listening to it. I’ll read a transcript…

I’ve got this kicking about somewhere will dig it out & have a look

Long read here.

Interesting to hear how he was after the SOTY award at the end, and how he was almost going to get it before.
