I feel like it was more geeky than boring, but sometimes that can equate to the same thing.
Skateboarders talking about skateboarding is usually pretty boring.
Sounds more like heās a total skate rat and a perfectionist to me.
More Mark Suciu, hereās the result of two and a half hours on the phone shortly after Verso was released.
Outfit advice from Stefan Janoski, āCross Continentalā, Love Park, being inspired by John Rattrayās writing, favourite authors and studying the novel as an art form in itself, celebrating Joe Castrucci, Zered Bassett inspiration, backbreaker lines, and so onā¦
I think this one is definitely on cards with a cuppa like.
Always love what Bobshirt puts out, interview wise.
Tim is a fucking genius. I wish somebody could pay him to do this all the time.
Isnāt it weird how you see someone and you judge them with absolutely no evidence of what they are like. I had the image that Rodney Torres was a bellend, he just had an annoying face. I know thatās ridiculous and it never left my head so no harm done, not like I was spreading my defamatory hate around but turns out, heās sound as fuck, really like him based on this Bobshirt. Of course, he probably always was, itās my problem that I thought that, he didnāt need to make it up to me.
Sorry Rodney!
That was such a good watch, talk about memory lane, that NY scene in the late 90s/early 00s was so damn good, EST, Heads, and Peep This, all those night photos that would be in the mags. Its cool heās a skate nerd like the rest of us, gives respect to everyone thats helped him too.
Torres was one of the first people I saw do a Feeble on a ledge and I thought it looked so dope! He may have been a direct influence on me buying a collegiate style Rhythm hoodie which I rocked hard for yearsā¦
Heās the very definition of underrated, Iāve always enjoyed his footage. The tre flip nose manual down that ledge was lovely, filmed brilliantly as well.
I miss seeing his skating on a regular basis, such a good style.
Tim Zom interview from the new Free Mag. Really good read. He definitely got shafted by people. Really shame. Glad to hear heās doing okay though.
And doesnāt hold back. Which I respect.
Why is he skating in SBās in that new part if they stopped sending him shit?
Maybe he still gets free shoes, just not direct or on the team? Or maybe he actually still likes to skate in them?
Could be old footage, homie hook up or just likes Nikes
Pretty heavy what happened to him, guy who made the documentary sounds like a dickhead
Bear in mind the Netherlands is where Nike European HQ is, lots of Dutch dudes work there in the SB dept so Iām sure he gets an unofficial hookup.
I buy Nike SB and they stopped sending me shit.
I really like Tim Zom.
Staba sounds like a bell. I mean food for a few days is like what $20??
This part was sick.
I know, just felt like they ditched him when he was still skating.
Sick burn.
