King Jah

Lolz! This one push aside, part was pretty jaw dropping.

No issue whatsoever tbh, exactly the same as filling in a crack in a run up.

This is absolutely fucking savage btw, slams are brutal. Well deserved S-O-T-Y

Plus his style is way less goofy than TJ’s even with the swimming trunks on

Absolutely unbelievable.
Best Nigel part yet.
Backing him for sexy skateboarder of the year

Oof. Painting it the same colour and everything.

I want to have a joke and a laugh with you but (edit - still!) not sure how this place works, always a bit eggshells tbh, which is a shame.

Quite enjoyed some of that! He even wore trousers for a few tricks!

:frowning:

He’s dropped more than an average pro career’s worth of footage this month.

This is it, Thrasher either chooses to legitimise him, or not.

If they can give it to Chris Cole twice, and Busenitz zero times, then it’s his for the taking.

12 mins of enders and hammer lines in PE kit.

It’s easy to say oh it’s just Nigel but I think he’s more than earned his S-O-T-Y now.

I’m sure he probably does, these things just film themselves.

He’s done his ACL. This will likely be it, which puts him at a little bit of a disadvantage to TJ and others.

I don’t think we’re going to ever get another Suciu situation again, where someone is dropping 6 parts in a bid for sexy skateboarder of the year.

It’s Dec 1st on Thursday, time is kind of up anyway. I can’t believe anyone would think he is at a disadvantage after dropping two of the heaviest parts in modern skateboarding. If anything it’ll make other people rethink what they’re about to put out.

Don’t worry, there’s no thinking involved.

Give him S O T Y. Distractions aside his actual skateboarding is heavy as fuck.

He can’t claim to be the sexiest though, so no sexy skateboarder of the year imho.

That was pretty undeniable, heaviest rail part ever imo. His last part left me completely cold - amazing what a difference some decent filming and music can make. Decent lines too, which I wasn’t expecting

I always quite like Jah’s ridiculous outfits, it fits his skating, and more entertaining than yet another pair of big boys. At least he wasn’t running so many leggings this time

Not sure this is a hard and fast rule. Seems release dates have been pushed back generally this year - we’re still waiting on the Cons vid featuring Louie (although this has premiered) and T-Funk’s new part. I am pretty sure that, in previous years, some big videos were released in December also. Just as long as the Thrasher team get to see it before making their choice, I think that’s really what counts.

I like his approach to rail skating, he’s pretty creative, doing stuff no one else has done or does, and it’s usually tasty tricks (frontside half cab Suski back to fakie, fakie kickflip fakie backside nosegrind, stuff like that). And as someone said his style has gotten more watchable, apart from the occasional weird placement which still bothers me but who am I to judge that really?

Stoked on the ender, a proper ender (after 12 minutes of enders!), something different and unique.

I don’t care about his outfits, he’s so good, he can do whatever he wants. Doesn’t look more ridiculous than some stuff the Pissdrunx wore back in the day when you think about it.

I’ll be happy if he gets the crown, happy if TJ Rogers gets it for being superhuman too.

Watching it again I do really appreciate the creativity of this part, some things work and some things don’t but that’s just how it’s often going to go when you’re changing things up.

I rewound that front shuv nose grind on that chunky rail a few times, however, I would be happy not seeing that sw heel tailslide again :grimacing:
