King Jah

If I’m gonna be picky with Nyjah’s trick selection in 2022, he does so many switch/nollie heel flips. Feel like if he was doing those variations in his regular stance he’d be labelled a heelflipper.

I’m surprised nobody’s mentioned the nollie feeble. Even though it’s on an absolutely tonk rail that’s still gotta be a no-no right?

Nollie feeble (fs or bs) is fine in my book

They pass, smith versions not so much.

Smith version would just look like some sort of weird and ugly fakie/switch(?) Willie-grind. Don’t think I’ve ever seen one in a part?

Nollie feebles stink. All of them.

I meant Nollie smiths are honking.

Switch heel smith > nollie feeble.

Fair play. Flips into (and out of actually) fs smith just don’t sit right with me

I’m not normally a Nyjah fan, but that that was ridiculous all the way through.
Following earlier conversations about TJ i’m on high alert for trouser adjustments and noted this little legging manoeuvre…

Is it me, or is the footage in the Nyjah section often really dark and shadowy for other people?

Yep 100%. My theory was they did a really dark colour grade so that it matched all the way through until the final trick where they tried to hide the little ramp

Some of the clips are super underexposed, or look like they have an ND filter.

HaI I actually thought this too. Nyjah’s SOTY contention should be revoked if so.

Didn’t see what you posted originally but personally say whatever you want to me, I’ve been on the forum for absolutely years and called people c-unts hundreds (thousands) of times. I’ve also skated with loads of you irl and had a lovely time doing so. It’s just the Internet at the end of the day innit.

Dm me if you want a scrap also :boxing_glove:

I’m a lover not a fighter!

I was going to disagree on the patching a crack vs a disguised jump ramp, but ultimately decided it was late, I’d had a drink and I couldn’t be arsed with any serious debate and potential pile on. The link was a pretty light hearted ‘look, it’s started!’ take on people spotting stuff in the video.

For me, instead of disguising the fly off/jump ramp just come clean and take a wooden one there if it makes an impossible spot skatable. But I know that’s not how these things work.

I’d not said anything out of turn, it’s just not what I do nor intend to do here :+1:

I watched his TIME part last night before I went to bed partly for the music (Odd Nosdam!). That’s a heavy part for a young lad, 15 years ago so he was something like 12 at the time…

Still not a fan of his, but that was just madness.
