But one of the bits I love the most about skating is you don’t have to think it’s ‘the best’ just because it’s ‘the most’. The most stairs, biggest rails, most dangerous, whatever. There’s so many sports/past times where it’s about the score, the height, the length, the winner, how heavy was the fish you caught, who scored the most goals, etc and that’s used as the binary benchmark from which we’re all supposed to say who the best is.
I get to watch these parts from the skater equivalent of 2022 Real Madrid winning their millionth Champs League and still say yeah but I’m not keen on his shorts, he didn’t do enough lines, it’s all rail hammers, I prefer 1997 Port Vale v Swindon on a wet night. And I can’t be wrong because it’s all opinion and it’s fine

Had my last day in work before getting posted, was on the lash the night before then had to do a 1.5 mile run. Running past stinking of drink. We used to go out on a Thursday and would all be hanging in work on Friday morning as well.
