Yeah, similar - I’m seeing ad sized grey blocks at the top today (work firewall blocking the content).

Fuuuck ok will look into it. Please do me a favour though, go into incognito/private browsing mode and login there and reply here if you can still see ads.
Cheers - I just logged in via private mode (Firefox, InPrivate) and the ads are not displayed.
Edit: No rush btw.
If this is the case then in your regular browser, try removing all cookies (for ukskateforum.co.uk) and refreshing cache and see if that resolves it. If it works properly in incognito then the problem is most likely localised to your browser.

Can we have the ability to hide threads that don’t interest the individual user?
I know I’ll never be opening the snooker or the fucking cricket thread for example.

Try this:
- Go to bottom of thread
- Change the notifications to ‘Muted’
- This should make it disappear for you
