Really nice guy too, seemed genuinely stoked I brought it along for him sign.
This ought to be in here too
100 extra pairs of these are being made and a quarter of those are pre ordered and taken already. If you fancy a pair get your pre order in
Winstan just sent me this. Amazing coverage on thrasher!
Did make me wonder about how Mike John will react given his recent posts about him having to sell his camera due to brands not paying him for his photos. Hopefully he’ll get some £ from Thrasher
Mike has posted the link to it on his Insta already. Also as a point of interest they are not all Mike’s photos in the Thrasher article, 3 of them are mine and 2 are Iain Borden’s. There may well other’s in there too.
Fair - not unlike Thrasher tbh but that’s what happens I suppose.
I noticed that our own scienceversuslife was absent from the list of people involved too ![]()
Regardless, as Winstan said, best Thrasher coverage of non American skating ever.

Winstan’s documentary about London Calling:
Coverage of the US premiere of Winstan’s documentary:
‘London Calling: A Whole Era Showed Up’, chronicles the inception, creation, preparation and recollections of the ‘London Calling!’ exhibition launch, as well as accompanying events, held across London in 2023. From the voices of the exhibition team, to the legendary 70’s skateboarders, they all share their excitement as they revel in the ultimate 40 plus year reunion.’
But is Jason Isaacs in it?
