I agree.
éS have literally never lived that down. They even got him on Etnies and gave him a shoe but that wasn’t enough! His Menikmati part is one of favourites to this day.

And the Dial Tone video came out the next day, I think. I’d been looking forward to that but still haven’t seen it because it’s not exactly popping up everywhere.
Even the Zero video felt a bit like, “Yeah, whatever, here’s some longhairs jumping stuff in VX!”, with the timing. As much as I watched of it anyway.
Hahahaha
Woooahhh that’s so sick!
Am I missing something, how are some of those things mirrors of each other?
From Jenkem…
** In the final section of Verso , Mark Suciu shares what only the most passionate denialists would call a poem: the first ever skateboarding chiasmus. The sequence is important enough that had he not gotten the trick, he and Justin were prepared to end Verso after the Blubba noseblunt. They’d have released the ABBA section standalone down the road, whenever he finally got it. The frontside fifties form a pair, the first and last tricks. The second trick is a nollie front heel fakie 5-0 revert (frontside), which pairs with the thirteenth trick—the trick of famous delay—a nollie back heel fakie nosegrind revert (backside). So the thirteenth trick is a totally fucking bonkers pretzel maneuver that reflects or inverts or reverses the second trick. The same goes for the third trick, a nollie crook, and the twelfth trick, a fakie crook. And so on, unfolding a sequence that represents a totally new realm of skateboard poetics.**
Going to be a pedant: most of the corresponding tricks in the last section aren’t exact mirrors of one another. If this was a poem, it’s one that doesn’t rhyme - ie. shite. RE DO.
This is what makes it rad, he takes it one step further.
Those tricks aren’t exact mirrors, they are complementary.
Frank gets it!
I really hope this is tongue in cheek, because you can’t seriously believe that constant rhyming couplets are the best way to write poems, like in a Christmas card?
Rhyming poems are rad,
Much like PJ Ladd,
Verso is bad
Because IT DUN’T FUCKIN’ RHYME!
Can you believe
I have not yet watched Verso
The constant barrage
Of clips is a blur, so
I just don’t get the time
To watch them all straight away
I save them for later
with a doob and a takeaway
verso rocks
mark is the greatest
not that marc

Bless you
Thank you

Suciu sir.
I’m not particularly averse,
to rhymes and poems and verse,
But I have to admit,
that Verso is shit,
cos what’s forwards ain’t done in reverse.
Lol joking I love it.
Anyone catch the breakdown on Nine Club? Eldridge hating on the fifty fifty? No one picking up on the opposite nature of that whole segment at all, and that he starts it with a fifty, as soon as Eldridge said it I thought someone might explain and call him out on not understanding but it didn’t happen… I thought Roger at least would have caught it.
