Haha would love to hear about this one. I work with Huw at the moment, proper good egg. Sold me Million Seller in this weird, cardboard sleeve (which must be for some promo) and gave me some books on The Fall a couple years back. Randomly came in a convo that he was in Pooh Sticks when we discussed Ween and that they played with them in NY back in '92.

No way! I saw them supporting The Pastels and Teenage Fanclub. They werenā€™t offensively bad, just hopelessly shambolic on the night.

Iā€™m changing worst gig to Acid Motherā€™s Temple performing live at a showing of the disturbing erotic horror anime Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend. I ate too many hash brownies and had a seriously bad trip.

The giant penises absorbing people whilst crashing through the hospital is especiallyā€¦weird.

I have seen mbv and thinking about it, it was bastard loud, mustā€™ve been louder than the one I listed. Just such a long time ago.

Also L7 would be contender for best gig, fuck that was good fun

MBV easily the loudest thing Iā€™ve ever seen live by quite some margin. I thought the venue was going to collapse during that bit they do in You Made Me Realise. And then it got louder.

The versions of Container Drivers and New Puritan are great on this.

I think for a quiet work day I will be mostly listening to Peel Sessions, then.
