The Warrington Runcorn YouTube channel has some pretty good videos.
Theres a few 20 something heads making it, but its a lotta people our age, I think - who grew up on Intercity Trains and the like.

Theres some cheap stuff in that whole genre, but theres some real gold, too.

Yeah likewise been enjoying a lot of that stuff, definitely some similar cultural influences - actually surprised there’s not been an InterCity themed album yet…

I’ve been going to some of the Resonance things around Todmorden - ambient / drone soundscape stuff, usually in a church space or the last one, a funeral parlour - here’s some of their mixes:
