Off to see Slayer tonight with Amon Amarth, Anthrax, Mastodon, and Hatebreed. Got a last minute ticket for £20, stoked.
I just sold that 12" fairly recently on Discogs , for about a tenner iirc
/coolstory
Seeing as we’re talking about Discogs (oh wait that was me)
I just sold a white label copy of Autechre’s Amber LP to some guy who first asked why the labels were white, then asked if the pressing was low quality because the labels were white, then offered me about half the asking price because he could pay quickly (?), then ended up just buying it normally and paying full price. In all our online interactions, he called me ‘bro’.
I just realised it was on Creation. Never noticed before.
I never found any Bandulu i liked as much as this release
My 12" was on Infonet, who I’ve just looked up and it turns out was funded by Creation.
Schoolday.
Top lad
Doesn’t seem like the average Autechre fan
Yes my 12 is infonet, cd lists both labels

Bloody hell you got the esteemed VU hard post and all
Mix for m50. Opens with that Mad Professor dub thanks @vital
This is nice.
I first checked this out years ago after reading Julian Cope saying it was their best work, better than all their albums. Turns out he wasn’t wrong, and an army of online dorks would also agree. Fucking hell, I saw Sabbath three times and they were way better than they should have been, shockingly good, but I would have loved to see them in 1975 while on as much coke as Ozzy was on this night.
Had a listen, bangin set, great guitar sound.
Was thinking earlier, the heaviness they get across on record isn’t down to the production, which is pretty basic, it’s the riffs, playing and lyrics that do the work
Watch the whole of the Live in Paris 1970 set. Its from an old Granada TV broadcast and it is fucking incredible. Bill Ward making the little kit bounce and War Pigs/Faries Wear Boots at the end of the show are just fucked up good.
One of the best live (recorded) shows I have ever seen. And I’ve seen it about 30 times.
Oh don’t worry, I’ve watched it about 31 times
Just grabbed Alfredo 2 the other day but haven’t had a chance to listen yet.
Found a copy of this Photek nugget whilst browsing through some second hand records the other day. Stoked.
I know there’s a few Cardiacs heads here, anyone peeped the new release?
Oooh, didn’t even know about it.
