Though I found it a bit too much of a sensory overload in combination with the skating, I really liked it the music from Japanese Super Rat’s LENZ part and found this version of it live:

Very much in the vein of early Boredoms but with more of a groove.

Really interesting, I’ve often thought about which artists are the most widely used. Would 100% have guessed Fugazi and would also have put good money on Dino Jr.

If the date range had expanded then I reckon Modest Mouse must be up there too

Where is Xzibit? I remember 411 using Xzibit a lot

Or it seemed that way at the time. We were sick and tired of paparazzi by the end of the ‘90’s haha

I remember I got a newfangled mp3 player from Singapore in about 2000. It cost about £120 quid and had a whopping 24mb of memory for storing all 6 of the songs you liked

This album is nightmare fuel in a good way.

Fuck that’s some relentless black metal. Had to give up after awhile. Second track is good though. It’s like happy hardcore metal without the happy :joy:

Whilst I’m here, Avatar (band not film series) dropped a new album last week

Much more importantly they’re touring Europe currently. Saw them in London weekend before last, one of the best live shows in rock. Complete with balloon animals and tuba

Lol. It’s not named after the goddess of nightmares for no reason.
Quite often listen to that one in the gym.

This is a nice Manchester piece. Production is great, texture is on point and the words ring true.

PiL are playing the Patti Pavilion in Swansea in September, wonder how that will go.

Will report back in September.

Really good mix by Alex Hatfield for Brixton’s Baddest skate shop. Worth checking out his soundcloud as well.
