Question for synth nerds. I’ve got a few analog synths and drum machines that I’m getting pretty handy with but I’m still a noob and struggling for a good solution for effects.
Currently running each individual machine through a few guitar pedals for delay/reverb/stutter etc. But I want to run this all through either a mixer or a central effects unit to make a proper effects loop ideally per channel. Obviously if I keep using pedals it’s either one channel or global. And I can’t fit infinite pedals on my table.
What do I look for? Mixer with effects? Mixer with an out for effects loop per channel? Some sort of multi channel effects processor? Hybrid of all those?

Some of the Behringer xenyx mixers have FX on each channel plus compression. That should solve a few problems.
Im aiming for infinite pedals.

Not sure what the jazz tolerance is on here but if it’s positive then the new ?uestlove album (with David Murray and Ray Angry) is worth your time…
