This deserves a thread of its own.
Big respect to our resident legend @jwdharris16
Very moving stuff…
Aw, thank you x
Will definitely be giving this a watch - but not until I’ve got time to sit in front of a tv and take it in properly.
This was really good. Moving stuff. Had a fair bit of loss these last few months and this helped remind me to keep the memories alive.
At times it was incredibly hard for me to do, but I really needed to do it. I stepped away from a lot of things to do with Jamie for such a long time, but it was Gordon’s death a year ago which sparked me to go for it and make this film.
It’s brought a lot of old friends and family back together, and helped us all celebrate Jamie’s life and everything he gave us in such a short space of time.
Roll Forever!
I’ll have to steel myself before I watch this @jwdharris16, but I will.
What a tribute. Amazing and moving film, big up @jwdharris16
Impactful and powerful, big respect for making this.
The song on the credits section did make me smile, that was a lovely touch.
Will watch tonight on big tele
Forgive me if I’ve said this before! The song at the end was the hardest part to track down.
I only had it as a soundtrack to our old skate footage, so I couldn’t use the music at all! Jamie’s family couldn’t find a clean version, a few of my friends didn’t have a copy anymore… until one evening my wife turns to me and says that we’ve always had it on an old mixtape compilation in the loft inside a suitcase full of old DVDs and CDs!
Amazing effort.
Thank you @navitronic
I’ll give it a watch later
Great stuff @jwdharris16
Thank you mate, really glad that you liked it.
Lovely stuff James. The song at the end made me smile… I could imagine all of your reactions at the time.
Amazing, beautiful!
Watched if with my wife this evening. Powerful stuff James, can only imagine how hard it must of been to make it.
Jamie was so stoked on it, and in typical youthful fashion we ripped into him about it but he owned it!!
Overall it was a therapeutic process making it, obviously there were times where it was very difficult to look at it objectively and with a neutral editor hat on.
Harry’s recollections really get to me though. I tear up every time he talks about the footprints.
