Neil Blender

I’m starting this thread to post this particular clip.
An hour of raw Speed Freaks era Blender.

That said, Neil Blender deserves his own thread forever.

Neil Blender stayed in Glasgow for a bit. Colin used to see him on the bus going to Angel Lights.

Yeah that Linda Vista connection with Graham Stanners and Davie etc was pretty strong. That Brum comp when him and Steve Claar were there was so great

Do you remember that guy Billy Davidson? He was so good that guy

Yeah, I was so into that scene. When Davie was getting Foundation stuff. Foundation was the best then. All the northern English skaters used to call the Scottish crew the ‘ woodentops ‘ cos they were into nature/conservation and eating well. I was backing it, they were seriously woke compared to everyone else but in a really genuine and un-preachy way

Mark Hamilton too. Davie got right into that really earlier. Not Foundation-related, but Jamie Blair works at Loch Lomond now, at a nature reserve.

Saw this on Facebook, such cool footage to emerge from the vaults. That ramp/house/weather setup is the stuff of my teenage dreams.
